Project objectives
As the ubiquitous kettles are kept in the traditional way for a long time, there is a need to consider the interaction and satisfaction of users, such as during the time for adding and waiting for water. How might we approach a playful way?
Constraints and Parameters
The trend for Brevilles’ kettles is the combination between metal, glass, and light. The potential designed points may focus on the attributes of those materials.

- Refractive properties
- The ease of use. Some can not pour water by one hand

- How to engagingly inform users the water is ready to drink

Users and Market
The user market targets the younger group and the elder group, or users seeking high-taste design. The design emphasizes interaction and improves the experience when people watch, use, and afterward.
